G and C Designs' architects provided comprehensive plans and project management for a full-width extension to a terraced townhouse. A key challenge was ensuring adequate natural light on the ground floor. This was ingeniously addressed through the incorporation of a skylight roof and expansive sliding/folding doors. These design elements seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing abundant daylight to flood the interior. The client's satisfaction is evident in their observation that natural light levels have remained unaffected, demonstrating the successful execution of G and C Designs' innovative solution.

Another full-width extension was undertaken, employing a similar strategy to maximize natural light penetration. In this case, a partially glazed pitched roof, coupled with a glazed gable and expansive sliding/folding doors, proved to be highly effective. This design approach not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the property but also significantly improved its interior ambience. The combination of these elements successfully addressed the challenge of illuminating the existing space, creating a bright and airy extension that seamlessly integrates with the original structure.
